Harmony Birth Services
Location & Area Served: Woodstock - Serving a 45-60min radius
Services: Birth Doula, Birth Photographer, Postpartum Overnight Newborn Care
About: When my first baby was born I walked into his birth completely naive about the "birth system" that is hospital birth in the USA. After ending up with a c-section, I was determined to have a different experience with my second baby. I sought education and the support of a doula. Both changed my life forever. I ended up having 2 unmedicated hospital births and 1 homebirth, falling in love with the birthing process along the way. Stepping into the role of a doula felt completely natural, like I had been preparing for it my whole life. I have now supported over 100 mothers in their journeys, and although it isn't always perfect, I have seen the difference support makes.

The Georgia birth worker alliance
Location & Area Served: Located in Roswell; Providing networking opportunities and coaching for birth workers.
Services: Virtual services include coaching for doulas and midwives, as well as counseling for trauma incurred attending births.
About: I am a midwife, women’s health nurse practitioner, and mom of 4 wild “babies” who aren’t quite babies anymore. My career began as a nurse in the neonatal ICU but when I became a labor & delivery nurse, I found my passion. I know first-hand how difficult this work can be, but fully believe that when we make a difference for one birthing family, that impact lasts for generations…and that makes all those sleepless nights worth it! The services I provide outside of my role as a full-time midwife are an effort to help prevent birth trauma for as many birthing individuals and families as possible, and support birth workers so they can continue to do this important work.
